WHAT EVERYONE IS SAYING
Lovely story on how fear can cause roadblocks to happiness. And how trusting God in spite of our fears can lead to happiness. So many wonderful gems learned through the love story of two people with fears. Excellent writing and dialogue that flows seamlessly. Love Parker Coles books.
This was the first Parker J. Cole book I've read, and I was captivated. I simply couldn't put it down. It's been years since I was able to sit down and read a book cover to cover, but this one drew me in. Now I'm trying to fight out which of her books to read next.
-A GROOM FOR ALTAR
Very enjoyable who done it. This is my first Pinkerton book but enjoyed it alot. The relationship between Mathais and Brielle was enjoyable to see unfold and to try to anticipate how she would come to terms with her feelings as they tried to solve the possible murder. Another wonderful read by a very talented author. I look forward to reading more books by Parker J. Cole.
-AN AGENT FOR BRIELLE
Parker K Cole complex her Pinkerton Matchmaker books about the Bradfords with the enlightening And Agent for Brutus. We finally learn the history behind the family and the end to a decades old feud. Terrific read!
-AN AGENT FOR BRUTUS
The writing is first-class and the characters the author gives the reader were excellent. I can tell this book was written not by someone who researched this time but by someone who has a personal feeling connection to the characters. Excellent from start to end!
-THE BUTTERSCOTCH BRIDE
This book was absolutely fantastic!!! The attention to the customs and reality of the lives of the Chinese such as foot binding was fascinating. Ms. Cole is a very gifted author and I will be reading more of her work.
-A BRIDE FOR WEN HUI
I loved the story. It has interesting characters. I was drawn to the character of Sterling as he had to learn how to go from under his father’s thumb to a man in his own right. The storyline is filled with surprises, emotional drama and obstacles (both internal and external) that the characters must overcome before true happiness could ever be achieved. It is a heartwarming tale that leaves you with a good feeling. So if you like historical romances and are looking for a quick easy read, I suggest you give this one a go.
-A BRIDE FOR STERLING
I found this author on a Facebook posting in Pioneer Hearts. I was intrigued by the author's synopsis and decided to check her out when the book published. I was wonderfully surprised! The book was well-written and well-edited (make the experience so much better!). I loved Eva from the first pages - a girl who cared for her family so much, she was willing to forsake her own happiness. As it rained here, it became a great afternoon read. I look forward to more stories from this series!
Good vs evil, light vs dark, sin vs redemption--all are hallmarks of Parker J. Cole's writing and this book is no exception. Intricate plots, complex characters, and drama galore provided a dramatic and enjoyable read from beginning to end.
